About Our Foundation

About RVIF

Royal Village International Foundation (RVIF) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization committed to supporting children and communities who have been overlooked, underserved, or left behind.

RVIF was established from lived experience-not theory. The foundation exists because survival alone is not enough, and charity without dignity is not the answer. Our work is rooted in the belief that when children are given stability, structure, and opportunity, they rise-regardless of where they began.

What started in rural communities in Liberia has grown into international educational partnerships in Rwanda and India, with a continued commitment to expand thoughtfully across Africa and beyond. RVIF works with intention, accountability, and transparency to raise global leaders-one village at a time.

Our Purpose

We believe children are not problems to be solved.
They are lives to be protected, nurtured, and prepared.

Royal Village International Foundation was established to meet children in real places and real circumstancesproviding safe housing, food, education, and consistent carewhile also building long-term systems that strengthen families and communities.

At RVIF, children are not defined by loss, labels, or lack.
They are Royals.

They deserve dignity, belonging, and an equal chance to grow into who they were created to benot who circumstance tried to make them.

This work is deeply personal. It is guided by the lived understanding of what it means to endure hunger, uncertainty, and survivaland to still believe that life can become more than what it first offered. RVIF stands as proof that survival can be transformed into purpose, and that hope, once carried by a child, can grow into a promise for many.

Our Mission & Vision

Royal Village International Foundation (RVIF) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable children, families, and communities through education, safe housing, healthcare support, and leadership development.

Mission

To provide safe housing, education, and holistic support for vulnerable children and youth, while building pathways that lead to independence, leadership, and long-term community impact.

Vision

A world where children are no longer defined by poverty, displacement, or circumstance-but by opportunity, purpose, and possibility.

Our Core Values

The principles that guide every decision we make and every action we take.

Dignity & Respect

We serve with humility and honor the humanity of every child and community. Our work is grounded in respect-recognizing that help given must never strip dignity, and support must always preserve identity, culture, and worth.

Integrity

We lead with truth, accountability, and moral clarity. Our service is guided not by assumption or distance, but by responsibility shaped through lived experience, honesty, and a commitment to do what is right-even when unseen.

Equity & Inclusion

We believe opportunity should never be limited by background, race, or circumstance. Having once received help ourselves, we now serve with empathy-ensuring fairness, access, and inclusion, while honoring the strengths each community already holds.

Community Partnership

We believe lasting change happens with communities, not to them. RVIF works hand in hand with local families, leaders, and partners to build solutions rooted in trust, cultural understanding, and shared responsibility.

Transparency & Stewardship

We are accountable for every resource entrusted to us. RVIF practices transparency in decision-making, responsible stewardship of funds, and openness in how we operate, serve, and measure impact.

Legacy

We believe our work must outlive us. Every decision is made with future generations in mind-building systems, opportunities, and leadership that will continue long after our direct involvement ends.

Responsibility

We recognize this work as a responsibility, not a role. Having once received help ourselves, we are committed to giving back with wisdom, humility, and deep respect for the lives and trust placed in our care.

Accountability

We hold ourselves answerable to the communities we serve, the partners who trust us, and the mission we carry. RVIF measures impact with honesty, welcomes evaluation, and remains committed to learning, growth, and responsible leadership.

Queen Georgia T. Nuahn

Founder & Executive Director

Royal Village International Foundation was born from lived experience, resilience, and vision. Queen Georgia T. Nuahn spent her early childhood in Senlay, Nimba County, Liberia, raised with love and stability by her grandparents.

I am Georgia Nuahn, Founder and Executive Director of Royal Village International Foundation. I was born in Liberia, in Senlay, Nimba County, and my life journey has been shaped by resilience, faith, and a deep understanding of what it means to endure-and to rise.

As a teenager, I migrated to the United States through the refugee program and eventually settled in Massachusetts. That transition marked the beginning of a new chapter-one defined by perseverance, education, and the determination to transform survival into purpose.

My background in healthcare and my continued pursuit of advanced education have strengthened my commitment to service, healing, and advocacy. These experiences inform how I lead with compassion, discipline, and a deep respect for human dignity.

The vision for Royal Village International Foundation emerged during some of the most challenging moments of my life. In those moments, I imagined more than relief-I envisioned RVIF as a small paradise for children from all corners of Liberia whose life experiences may have broken their wings, yet who still carry the ability to fly. A place of safety, belonging, and restoration, where children are nurtured, protected, and reminded of who they are.

Royal Village International Foundation is more than an organization to me; it is a calling. It represents a commitment to build sustainable systems of care that honor dignity, strengthen communities, and create pathways for children to become leaders of their own futures.

I remain fully dedicated to this work-leading with lived experience, integrity, and the belief that every child deserves not only to survive, but to grow, lead, and live with purpose.

"Children are not defined by where they are born, but by what they are able to become. My mission is to ensure every child has the opportunity to write their own story of success."
