About RVIF

Royal Village International Foundation — empowering African youth through education since 2018.

A Brief History

From Tragedy to Hope

The fourteen years of civil war in Liberia left an indelible mark on one little girl's heart, replacing childhood joys with trauma, tragedy, and displacement. Instead of playful moments in the mud, styling wooden dolls' hair, or playing hop-scotch and soccer, she witnessed unimaginable suffering. Hunger and punishment were constant companions, with beating and endless squats a daily routine. This childhood void fueled her dreams of creating a better future.

Georgia Nuahn, now a woman, queen, and mother of three, envisions a paradise for impoverished children. She purchased four acres of land in rural Liberia (Careysburg, Margibi County) to create a welcoming home where children can thrive without the stigma of being orphans. The Royal Village Foundation was born from her vision, aiming to provide a safe haven, nurturing environment, and a sense of belonging.

The foundation's mission is to empower children to break the cycle of poverty, reduce illiteracy, and provide a stable and healthy environment for them to reach their full potential. The village will feature a school (preschool to ninth grade), six living houses (three for boys and three for girls), a gymnasium, healthcare building, outdoor playground, library, and computer lab. Trained professionals will ensure the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being. Regular family visits will maintain a sense of normalcy and connection.

Georgia's determination and perseverance drive her to fill the hole in her heart with this new vision. However, she needs support – financial, emotional, and physical – to make this immense dream a reality. Join her in rebuilding her community and helping children without a dependable family. Together, we can bridge the hole in her heart and positively impact the lives of those affected by the civil war in Liberia. Let's help Queen Georgia change the narrative of Liberia and give a brighter future to its children.

Queen Georgia T. Nuahn

Georgia Nuah, known to many as Queen Georgia, did not choose philanthropy. Philanthropy chose her, through the particular suffering that only a child left behind truly understands.

Born to a single mother who departed early, she was raised by her grandparents in circumstances that offered little comfort and fewer guarantees. She knew hunger. She knew instability. She knew what it meant to look around and find no one coming.

It is precisely because no one came for her that she comes for others. Every residential home in Careysburg, every scholarship in Kigali and Delhi, every hand-pump standing in a remote Liberian village, is her answer to the silence she once endured as a child.

"Every child who has ever been left behind carries a weight that no child should bear alone. I know that weight. I have felt it in the silences of my childhood, in the absence of a mother, in the uncertain warmth of borrowed care, in the quiet dignity my grandparents fought to preserve for me when the world offered little help."

The Royal Village International Foundation was not born in a boardroom. It was born in the memory of a little girl who needed someone to show up, and in the conviction of the woman she became, that no child in her reach would ever be left to wonder if they matter.

We do not offer charity. We offer belonging. We do not offer pity. We offer possibility. Every home we build, every scholar we send into the world, every cup of clean water we place in a child's hand, these are not acts of generosity. They are acts of justice.

"Every child deserves the chance I was given. Through RVIF, we're not just changing individual lives — we're building the future leaders of Africa."
