About This Event

In June 2024, the Royal Village International Foundation carried out a compassionate clothing donation outreach for children at the Karnga Town Preaching Point in Johnsonville, Montserrado County, Liberia. This initiative was part of the Foundation's ongoing commitment to uplifting vulnerable children and restoring dignity to families facing extreme hardship.

Understanding the Reality on the Ground:
Across many communities in Liberia, children from low-income and impoverished households face daily struggles that go far beyond education. For families surviving on one meal a day, purchasing decent clothing for school, worship, or everyday life is often impossible. As a result, many children grow up without proper clothing, exposing them to discomfort, social stigma, and low self-esteem.

The Royal Village International Foundation recognized this pressing need and responded with practical support aimed at meeting both physical and emotional needs of the children.

The Donation and Its Impact:
Through this outreach, the Foundation distributed clothing items to children in the community, helping to ease the burden on parents and guardians while bringing joy and confidence to the young beneficiaries. Parents of the children expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Foundation and its Founder, Georgia Nuahn, for remembering their community and standing with their children during difficult times.

A Broader Vision for Liberia's Children:
During the event, Founder Georgia Nuahn shared insights into the Foundation's long-term vision for supporting vulnerable children in Liberia. She reaffirmed the organization's dedication to education, healthcare, and child protection, emphasizing that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment.

As part of this vision, the Royal Village International Foundation has acquired four acres of land in Careysburg, located in Margibi County. Plans are underway to develop a welcoming home where children can grow, learn, and thrive without the stigma often associated with orphanhood, but instead with a strong sense of belonging and family.

RVIF A Continuing Commitment to Hope:
This clothing donation outreach in Johnsonville is one of many initiatives that reflect the Royal Village International Foundation's commitment to improving the lives of Liberia's most vulnerable children. Through compassion, action, and sustainable planning, the Foundation continues to embody hope and create pathways to a better future for communities across the country.

Royal Village International Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to protect, empower, and uplift children because every child deserves dignity, care, and the opportunity to thrive.
