Job Summary

The Project Management lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the Foundation's education, child welfare, youth empowerment, and community development projects from start to finish. This role ensures that every project is implemented on time, within budget, and in line with the Foundation's mission, policies, and donor expectations.

Working closely with country teams, partners, volunteers, donors, and senior leadership, the Project Manager provides strategic direction, monitors progress, manages risks, and ensures resources are used effectively. The position also focuses on building strong partnerships, improving project performance, and measuring the long-term impact of programs on the communities we serve.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple projects across different locations while maintaining high standards of quality, accountability, and transparency.

Qualifications

  • - Plan, coordinate, and oversee the successful implementation of assigned projects from initiation to completion.
  • - Develop project plans, work schedules, budgets, and implementation timelines.
  • - Lead and supervise project staff, consultants, volunteers, and implementing partners.
  • - Monitor project progress and ensure activities meet agreed objectives, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • - Build and maintain productive relationships with government agencies, donors, community leaders, and partner organizations.
  • - Identify project risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
  • - Ensure responsible use of project funds and compliance with financial and donor requirements.
  • - Prepare high-quality progress reports, project updates, and impact documentation for leadership and funding partners.
  • - Track project performance using measurable indicators and recommend improvements where needed.
  • - Support proposal development, grant implementation, and organizational strategic planning.
  • - Ensure safeguarding, ethical standards, and organizational policies are consistently followed across all projects.
  • - Represent the Foundation professionally during meetings, conferences, stakeholder engagements, and field visits.
